Our story
Built for the love between dogs and their people.
iPetag started with a question: why does finding a lost dog still depend on squinting at a tiny metal tag?
It started with a dog named Cooper and a Tuesday afternoon that lasted three days.
Cooper's family spent 72 hours posting flyers, driving every street, and refreshing Facebook groups. When he was finally found — two miles away, healthy and confused — the person who found him had no way to contact his family. They tried the engraved tag. The phone number was outdated.
The technology to fix this has existed for a decade. QR codes are on every receipt and bus stop. NFC chips are in every modern phone. But nobody had made a pet tag that was both beautiful enough to actually put on a collar and smart enough to work.
We set out to build the thing we wished existed: a tag that looks great, communicates everything a stranger needs, and gets updated in seconds when your phone number changes. A product that feels less like a utility and more like love made physical.
What we believe
The principles behind everything we build.
Built on love
Every decision we make starts with one question: does this make a dog parent feel safer? Technology is secondary. The emotion comes first.
Privacy by default
Your home address and personal email are hidden by default. You control what a stranger can see. Always.
Design as a feature
We believe a well-designed product is one people actually use. If a tag is ugly, it doesn't get put on. So we obsess over the details.
No anxiety pricing
No subscription to cancel. No features held hostage. $24 gets you everything, forever.

Ready to give your dog the protection they deserve?
